The open-top Maserati GranCabrio is pure Maserati. The Maserati GranCabrio touches all five senses in an open-air experience that retains all the typical comfort and performance brio. Like all Maserati's open-top models, the Maserati GranCabrio is a special car intended for true connoisseurs.

Maserati GranTurismo Coupe

This is Maserati GranTurismo Coupe. For the man who has everything except taste, there is Mansory. The Bavarian automobile tuner has now turned their attention to the Maserati GranTurismo coupe and its more powerful 'S' brethren.
The Mansory GT and GTS features a new front spoiler, radiator grille, bonnet, deeper door sills, rear spoiler, exhaust inlay, rear apron and rear diffuser. All of these add-ons are carbon fibre and made in-house by Mansory.Mansory has also tweaked the engine output by fitting the GT and GTS models with a new ECU, air filter and sports exhaust which increase performance by 30 hp and torque by 40 Nm on each model (435HP / 5000 Nm on the GT and 470HP / 530 Nm on the GTS).

he Italian coupe now rolls on 255/30 R 20 tires at the front and 305/30 R 21 tires at the back. These are painted to match the body color. The interior is also customized (of course) with new seat fabrics, aluminium pedals and a supposedly sportier-looking steering wheel. For styling sadomasochists, Mansory also has all sorts of packages for cars built by Mercedes-Benz, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Ford, Bugatti and Aston Martin.http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_FoXyvaPSnVk/TIumJaTl2sI/AAAAAAADSRA/08iPxvqqcVc/s800/Mansory-Maserati-GranTurismo-S-110.jpg

The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione is powered by 8 cylinder 90 degree V engine which given the 8C in the name. The 4,691 liter engine is capable of producing 450 bhp at 7000 rpm and peak at around 7500 rpm. The engine can propel the 1,585 kg car from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4.2 second while the top speed is 290 km/hr.

The V8 engine is located directly behind the front wheel while the gearbox is housed inside the rear axle. It also has a computer controlled 6 speed electro hydraulic sequential gearbox which allows changing gears using the levers behind the steering wheel just like the formula 1 car. This gears lever has 5 mode depending on the terrain and driving style such as Manual-Normal, Manual-Sport, Automatic-Normal, Automatic-Sport and Wet modes. The gearbox can shift in 175 milliseconds when using Sport mode

The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione chassis is made of steel made by Italian company ITCA Produzione, providing torsional stiffness for better suspension. The rear and front suspension is using wishbone system. For the tire the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione uses 20 inch P Zero Corsa racing tires, 245/35 at the front and 285/35 at the rear with specially made fluoformed perforated aluminum rims for sporting use as well as style.

The body is made of carbon fiber for light weight and painted using special technique using first coat of base color and second coat of colored mica particles which gives it the luminosity and the last coat of color is then applied for more full and translucent looks.

On the safety side, the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione has a 6 piston fixed caliper brakes at the front and 4 piston brakes at the rear. This massive brake has a stopping distance of only 32 meters when stopped from speeding up at around 100 km/hr.

The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione interior as expected with luxury and limited edition sports car is made fully of carbon fiber, aluminum or high quality leather with hand stitches branding. The sports style seat is designed to provide maximum lateral support for the driver and its passenger. Upholsteries are available in red, titanium, tan and black.

The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione was assembled at Alfa Romeo/ Maserati factory in Modena Italy and was only produced 500 unit of the supercar.
