Any hope of seeing the NBA in 2011?

Any hope of seeing the NBA in 2011?
This might violate the taunting rule: The NBA has released the 2011-12 schedule.

David Stern and the league has announced that Dirk Nowitzki and his champion Mavericks will open the season Nov.1 against Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls.

Psyche.

On the same night Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant face off when the Oklahoma City visits Los Angeles. The next night we get last year's soap opera stars LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade.

Jab.

You can't buy single-game tickets just yet but teams are selling season tickets and other packages.

Slap in the face.

You might never suspect that the NBA has locked out its players and the sides are oceans apart in negotiations. And the Minnesota Timberwolves are the latest to lay off employees.

Very few thought we would lose football. But the optimism over the NBA is no where near as optimistic. Do you think you'll be watching the Lakers and Mavericks in the fall?
