2010 Lincoln MKZ Review

The new The new 2010 Lincoln MKZ midsize sedan is designed for customers who have come to equate Lincoln with elegant, contemporary design, exceptional comfort, unmatched features and quality.

New for 2010, the Lincoln MKZ with a sporty version with a new sport suspension tuning special with stiffer springs and stabilizer bars, larger 18-inch polished wheels Euroflange, grille and headlights dimmed, and an interior with contrasting piping and unique applications.

New Lincoln MKZ also features a segment exclusive feature, as the first-in-class Blind Spot Information System (BLIS ™) with Cross Traffic Alert (CTA), which makes navigating traffic and parking easier and safer.


BLIS tracks of vehicles in areas with blind spots on both sides of the vehicle using two radar modules multi-beam behind the rear fender. LEDs in the exterior mirrors on both sides of the vehicle to warn the driver when a vehicle enters the area defined as the blind spot, which extends from the side mirror 10 meters behind the vehicle and 10 meters from the vehicle.

CTA uses radar sensors to alert the driver BLIS of oncoming traffic while in reverse and backed by a parking space. CTA tracks up to 65 meters on each side of the vehicle and alerts the driver with both audible and visual alerts.
